Megan Tabor (she, her, hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am well accomplished in advocating for clients’ needs from diverse populations. My experience includes working in a variety of different treatment settings, including inpatient and outpatient, residential, crisis care, a safe house for victims of domestic violence, and community services. Through my experiences, special interests, and training, I am skilled in working with individuals, teens, and couples. Further drawing on my experiences, I have an interest and passion in working with complex trauma, LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence, and adjustment/transition issues—bilingual abilities (English and Polish).
My approach is eclectic; I utilize various therapeutic strategies based on individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered approaches, Strength-Based approaches, and Solutions-Focused models.
I support clients in navigating struggles with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundary settings, processing trauma, thought processes, communication skills, and much more. I strive to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for each individual and their unique needs.
